'They never leave us..'

"Luna and Filch" short story about Mary Norris.



It was a normal afternoon on Hogwarts; The students used to make their homeworks at this time.
Argus Filch was down on his office and enjoyed his favourite moment on the day,and right now he looked in some old books he had found at home.He had been looking in some old reference books,and some almost completely destroyed nature books he had used in the muggle school he had been in for so many years ago..
After a while he saw a strange but kind of familar book down on the bottom of the box,Filch picked it up and brushed the dust off it.
-What is this..? Filch wondred and carfully opened it.
It was an old photo album, and on the front, he saw a skinny boy with dirty brown hair and worn clothes.Filch immediately recognized it as himself when be was a kid..
Filch looked at the other pictures of his past; Family photos,School dances,Birthdays..
Then he saw himself and a women with long blonde hair and big blue eyes who smiled at him on the photo; His wife...
-..Mary.. Filch whispred and looked down on the beautiful women.
He immediately flipped on and found one with himself and Mary with a little kitten in Marys arms.It was Mrs.Norris mother.
He suddenly remembered that Mary always said she loved cats and on her 40 birthday Filch had bought her one.
Filch smiled then he saw the photo and he felt a long missing happiness in his heart.

Filch also found a photo on their wedding day;Mary had a beautiful white dree and had a tiara on her head.
Filch was wearing smooking and his hair looked nicer than on the other photos.

He took out the photo and putted it down in his pocket and then he enjoyed to watch the other photos while the hours flied away.

"CRASH"

Filch woke up from his photo album and his almost became red and he swore aloud over the person who had disturbed him.
he hurried up the floor above,and shuffling down the corridor until he found what he was looking for.

-Aha! He said and pointed on Luna Lovegood..
-Mr.Filch..this is not what it looks like! Luna said and pointed down on the things on the floor.
There was a lot of porcelain pieces that seemed to have come from an antique vase.
-Yeah yeah,like i never heard that before! Ficlh said
-I swear i wasen't me,Some Slytherin boys came by and pushed me on it while i was reading a fantastic book about nargles,really intresting actually, and...
-Enough stupid girl! I don't belive in your fantasy,This was a very famous vase wich belonged to Helga Huffleuff herself,and now it's just pices! Filch yelled at Luna
-Bu-u-t i.. Luna tried but Filch gave her a glance that made her be quiet.
-30 points from Ravenclaw + 10 points for disturbed me then i was doing something important! + 10 points for blaming others! Filch snapped at her
"..Wow,someone's got a bad day..." Luna thought
-Now follow! You'll work off your crime down in my office! Filch said
-But Mr.Filch i've got a History Of Magic leasson about ten minutes! Luna said
-Well i guess you'll miss it girl! Filch said and then he took Luna by the neck and dragged her down to his office.

Filch opened the door and pulled Luna in and she quickly breathed in.
-So girl,You'll be sorting in those books in that box and those books in the other! Filch said and pointed on his old books.
Luna nodded slowly and sat down on the cold stone floor and started to sort the books.
"..This place smells like old fish and cat.." Luna thought and tried to keep her breath.
Filch were out and made "caretaker things" and Luna was now alone in his office.
It was a bit scary and she was being cold down on the floor so she stand up and left the books for a while and made walked over to the fireplace.
-Incendio! Luna said and pointed her wand at it and then a big fire came into it.
-Ahh much better.. Luna said and warmed her hands near the fire.
She then looked around in the small office and it looked very messy.
to be a caretaker he is a real fribble. Luna said
-Scourgify! Luna then shouted and the whole room started to clean up it self.
Luna then returned to the books and quickly sorted them down in the boxes and she walked around the office and looked at the diffrent items.

-Ohh,this one looks nice. Luna said and took up Filch's album..
She leafed through it, stopping sometimes to look at something exciting..And then she found the photo of Filch's wife.
Luna gasped and looked at Filch and his wife smiling up to her.
"I didn't know Filch culd SMILE?!" Luna thought
-Hmm..I guess that's his wife..

She then heard the door opens and Filch came in and Luna turned quickly around to see his eyes turning red then he saw what she was doing..
-What are you doing,you stupid girl!!! Filch yelled at her
Luna swallowed and thought about something to say but she couldn't think of anything.
-You were sneaking around my things! Filch shouted in her face.
-..No-o..i ju-ust fo-un-d the bo-oo-k an-d i-i... Luna said and shaked in her whole body.
-I don't wanna hear your excuses anymore! Filch said and he was about to grip Lunas neck but Luna quickly held up the album and showed the picture of his wife.
-..Please don't!...
Filch stopped his hand and looked stunned down on the photo and then on Lunas scared face.
-..You..You look just like..her.. Filch said and still looked at both the photo and Luna.
-What? Luna said and raised up.
-Same hair..Same big eyes.. Filch said like in trance.
-Your wife.. Luna said and stared at Filch who didn't look angry anymore.
-She was to beautiful for someone like me...I was too ugly..but she liked me anyway..
-if it's any consolation,I thought you were quite handsome. Luna said
Filch ignored her and said again:
-She always wanted a kid...but she died..
-Is it why you hate kids..Becuse she couldn't get any..? Luna said again.
Filch didn't answer but Luna already knew the answer.
-You better go now.. Filch mumbled to Luna
Luna nodded and gave the album to Filch and walked over to the door,but just then Luna was about to close the door she said:
-Mr.Filch,I know how it feels to lose someone you really care about..My mother died when i was nine and i miss her all the time.But life have to go on and..you have to go on,see the meaning of life.And remember that people we love never leave us.You'll see her again..But right in the moment..I think you should hurry up and help Mary Norris..
I think Draco Malfoy just gave her a kick.

Filch looked at Luna and was just about to say something but then Luna said her last words:
-Well bye Argus.. And then she closed the door behind...
